Twitch x Audible Live Club live stream event

A unique twist on a Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol. An interactive live stream event that brought Audible Originals to Twitch’s highly engaged community of creators.

To promote Audible with Gen-Z creators, we created a campaign and live stream event in collaboration with Twitch and some well known Australian Twitch streamers. 

As the event was happening around Christmas time to encourage gifting of Audible memberships, we created an abridged version of Charles Dickens’ ‘A Christmas Carol’.

The event was hosted by Iamfallfromgrace and Reapz, who dressed up and created an “Audible Original” of their own by performing a live, interactive, and very 2020 take on the classic.

Iamfallfromgrace narrated the classic, while Reapz put on his best performances and thrilled fans with the Charles Dickens classic. In their live reading, they took cues from the audience to include sound effects, improvise character voices and used props to enhance the storytelling.

The excitement spilled out of the Twitch community and onto social media feeds and even news headlines. Some articles reported on how Audible Australia’s campaign was able to connect with Twitch’s highly-engaged community of streamers and content creators to show them a new, interactive way to experience audio storytelling.
